Description

so I promised to do more experimenting so here's a background-ish art in progress! (did this in January but picked it back up last month //shot)

I used reference thought I changed the back alley a little to try my own, but I think I'll link it to the finished one instead haha...
Also working on a few fullbodies that's almost done too!

Gorgeous...
A good background feels so much better than the characters inside the background if you can do it right. Like you have here.
Like the doorway on the left, and the drain pipes leading down the wall. That must've felt so good to get that done. Like, "Yeeees... Look at that wall... That doorway... How the pipe curls around the edge of the roof so nicely..."
And it's a very lovely setting too. Looks like it's got a lot of character to it. Tightly packed buildings, a brick road, and a tree crammed into the sidewalk. Very nice~.
